Mitchells Saleroom

The Saleroom is without doubt one of the most interesting in the country, situated in the heart of Cockermouth in Cumbria it occupies a refurbished, converted cattle market. The octagonal sale ring conjures up images of a bygone era and is completely suited to the sale of antique furniture and effects. Cockermouth, the birthplace of William Wordsworth, is a pretty market town situated on the fringe of the Lake District and a visit to the saleroom could easily be combined with a visit to this gem town.
